I dont understand it, after I am given 'the burn was completed successfully' message, I try the disc on my pc and it works but if I try and play the same disc on my cd player its as though its blank.

    Any ideas?????

    Please help!

PS: can a whole movie be copied onto a 99min cdr?

    THANKS!!!

    railauk,

We really need to know what it was you were trying to burn and with what were you trying to burn it with.

Is it possible that you didn't finalize the CD ?? If the disc isn't finalized it will play in your PC but not in your CD player -

Question # 2. NO ! You won't get a full movie on one CD !

You will be able to get it on two CD discs and it will be able to be played on 90% of the standalone players and 100% of Windows PC's

    Happy Holidays,

    Hi railauk
Was it a Audio disc or a movie disc. When I was cleaning up a stack of discs the other day some of the discs would not play in my cdrom even though they looked like something was on them. Played them in my dvd rom and lo and behold they were vcd discs. Conclusion I can burn VCD in my cd burner but I cannot play them back in the cdrom

    Wow!

This thread is more than a year old....

I somehow doubt railauk has been waiting all this time for an answer!

    Yriv,

    Tis my fault Good Guy,
dRD pointed out the "Date thing" to me a couple of days ago
Soooooo, I was careful to watch the month and date -Tooo bad the year thingy didn't register with my thick old head -

I am really sorry to dig up old buried bodies -
Today - - I'll try to teach myself about the year part of the date -

One of these days I'll put it all together -

    Again, Sorry all -
