Hi The volume on my cd-rs are very low all of a sudden. I'm using Taiyo yuden cd-rs from supermediastore.com The tracks are burned as .wav, 16 bits, sample rate 44100. Is it the cd media, or my burner, or a setting during the encoding process? Kimmi
whats the bitrate? 320 bitrate is best also some media CD's have low volume, like the Memorex Black CDs. Try using a converter like dBpowerAMP for a different file type like .MP3
chubbyInc, what rips @ 320? I am planning to rip some vinyl one of these days so I have been sniffing around on this forum. I have not found anything I was looking for but have stumbeled into great finds such as this.
Not totally sure about Vinyl transfer programs or the quality they will give out. dBpowerAMP can copy an original CD at 320 bitrate into various formats.
Thanks, I will look into dBpowerAMP. I can always re-rip my CDs. With disk space so cheap, I am interesed in max quality.
