hi there...talk about a botched xmas...i was trying to make dvds from my roommate's old 8mm video of her cats for a present with a newly purchased cameramate real time video cm50000...i somehow can get it to do what I (underscore,!)want it to do....in the past u guys were great in helping me learn how to do dvd backups and everything (plextor 708, sampo 631cf, mitsui dvd+r, nero 6,dvdshrink 3.1, saved as .iso) worked geat... i now wanna take the video, save it at its possible lowest resolution (the pictue aint as strobey ala stop animation) which is mpeg , then convert it to .iso so that i can burn it in a format and method i am familar with....is this possible? can it be done with freeware? or am i just missing the point.... thanks in advance googoo
You have Nero 6 that can burn VCDs all you have to do is select the VCD option and copy it across if its not the correct settings for VCD it will recode automatically, but most of the time Mpeg should be sweet if you have a decent TV or DVD Player. Hope that helps dude
googoo, You can also use dvdshrink in reauthor mode since the video is already in mpeg. Make sure you save it to your hd as .iso and then you'll be ready to burn with Nero to a dvd+r.
