    Hi, I wanted to copy a region 1 dvd: mine's region 2. I was using DVD Shrink. This told me that in order to copy the dvd, I would have to reset region settings to 1. This sems easily done, however, it also said that it only allowed four changes. I don't want to start screwing things up too much, so before I start making region changes, can anyone explain if it is easily done, and most importantly.... easily changed back? I'd like to be able to do this whenever I like, rather than being allocated 4 and then it's permanent!! I'm using XP Pro if it's any help.. Thanks, Gary

    Also Dvd Decrypter will do any regions - it will just use a different decss option....
    This is what I use and have no issues......

    Check out the software section here at afterdawn for a free download.....

    gcsom;
    Leave your comp settings well alone just download the trial of AnyDVD from AfterDawns software pages it allows you to read DVD,s from any region,also when you burn them it makes them region free,after the trial you have the option to buy or forget,It,s very good well worth the money as it gets updated for free,Happy Burning :eek:)

    A cheap DVD ROM with a region free firmware is another option :)
