hi, i need some help. the charging connection on my laptop has broken. the little metal piece inside the 'hole' has snapped off or come away somewhere. i have opened up the computer but cant see anything. can i replace this part or is there anything i can do without taking it to pcworld and paying them £50 just to look at it. Thanks.
Hi. I happen to have the same problem with my lappy, just haven' got around to fix it. As far as have heard it is possible you can pull this off. Just google "replace laptop dc jack" and check out something like RS Components or similar to find the necessary part for your lappy. Good luck.
