I am looking for the cheapest upconverting DVD player, would be nice if it could play AVI files too. Anyone know a cheap one? I can't stand 480p after watching Blu-ray movies.
Look at a site called TechBargains.com. They update their site twice a day. It tells of the best bargains around. I have seen the Philips Model 642 for $39. It has had good feed back on afterdawn till just lately. Some members seem to be having a problem with the updated ones of those. I purchased the Philips 5960/37 at Best Buy for $70. I have been really happy with it. It plays anything I have tried on it.
