    Apparently the media (Verbatim DVD-r) I use wasn't bad at all, and my GC laser was just funky.

    Hey, I use ritek on mine and have never changed the laser setting. They work fine, no dre errors

    I've never actually seen Ritek sold in major retail outlets. That's why I figured it be nice for people to know what other kinds of media are top quality so they aren't restricted to ordering off the Internet.

    office depots brand is ritek G04. That is what I use for gamecube.
