Hey guys... I'm a newbie so be nice. I need to reformat my harddrive so I'm backing up all 60 gigs of mp3s on dvd+r's using nero. How can I make sure that all of the information has made it to disc without testing each track? thanks so much.

In Nero, when you get to the burning screen, there should be an option to "Verify written data". I'm not sure how accurate it is but you can get a log to see if there was any errors.

yeah have heard nero's verify check isn't foolproof, so you coould use it, but along with other checks, such downloading dvdinfo (free) and run a crc check on the disks

    Hi there,

    http://www.dvdinfopro.com

You can use DVDInfoPro to run a CRC Check on your media.

It will read every sector of your media, and flag down sectors it can read.

If you end up with a 100% CRC Errors Free, you should be ok !
    It's a good start :)
