Hi! Just accidently flashed my Aladdin Advance on a XBOX V 1.5 with xecuter 4977 instead of evox M7. Now I can not activate the flash enabled condition of the Aaddin as the box switches itself of and restarts then (what might be the different start-versions of the xecuter bios!?). Anyway, no matter what condition the box starts in, it gives me an error 16. Is there a way to reset the flash bios and to overcome the error 16? Thanx, Richy
Error 16 is a dashboard error. The bios is booting but can't find a dash to load. Can you still boot an EvolutionX boot disc? Are you positive it's a version 1.5 Xbox? RustyDog
I have run into the same problem with Xecutor 2.3 Lite on an X-Box 1.4. I accidentally flashed BIOS with incompatible version. Now I it does the boot twice thing and on the third it frags (the red/green flashing) when modchip turned on and get that M$ error 16 when I tried to boot with modchip disabled. And as I understand there is no way to revert it back w/o hardware flasher/programmer. I just ordered one online ($15) and hopefully will get it in a couple of days.
