Does anyone have experience with this problem? I'm getting VERY choppy play on bigger movies when played through a share from my computer. When I move the movie to my xbox hard drive directly it definitely helps the problem, but I still see it pretty bad on 4 - 5 gb movies. I've had this experience periodically on movies in full DVD format (4-5 gb's) but now it's much worse... larger files are much worse and completely unwatchable. But now 800MB vcd's are choppy too. I did load a much newer version of media center recently (10-13-2005). It didn't seem to do this at first, but it could be related I suppose. I have an Xecuter 3.
have you considered that maybe it is suppose to be choppy? idunno. haven't seen this problem before but if all the physical connections are there than it is something with the software. or your modchip.
