have been using 1.2 for some time and with no problems - I recently downloaded the latest software, CLADDVD 1.3 XP, and although it states that it is freeware and available for all to use, when I now try to start it, I just get a message telling me that it has expired and to download the latest version - when I do that, uninstall and reinstall, it still gives me the same message. - the latest version is basically the same version that I had before....

Surely this cant be right for a piece of freeware, that it has an expiry on it??? Anybody else experienced the same thing?? I'd be interested to know if there's a way round it.... cheers!

PS. there is a mention of this on the CloaneAD website, it says to download the software again and it will work, but it doesnt.

Had the same problem. Put the date on your PC back to January 2002 and it works just fine.

Have you worked out what comes next with Claddvd ? I ripped off the DVD but can't work out what comes next.

I'm using smart ripper at the moment and an excellent guide I found on dvd2dvdr.com (Spruce-up guide. The discs it creates work in everyones DVD player, but mine. Ironic or what ....
