Talk about microsoft shooting themselves in the foot, the vista DVD upgrade version provides all that's needed to clean install it,there's no hack and to me would appear perfectly legit, either that or someone high up in the development team of vista did it on purpose for some techies to find and post the work around...lol... http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/31/clean-install-workaround-for-vista-upgrade-discovered/ the advantage of a clean install instead of overwritting xp apart from bugs is it will mean if the install goes wrong you won't have to worry about having your xp key invalidated as that's exactly what happens if you do install on xp,and currently microsoft have no patch orphone for a new liscence key like with the earlier version upgrades, which could be clean installed anyway,in any case good one to whoever included the trial option of vista on the dvd *thumbs up*
