Clicking Hard drive

    hi

    i have a custom built pc but recently my hard drive started clicking and after a bit of research i found that it was a physical failure so i had no choice but to replace it
    now my second hard drive has also started clicking
    i dont want to keep buying hard drives only to see the fail
    could anyone help me

    Guess you got unlucky, are they the same brand?

    Physically the only hard drives that have a better MTBF rate are enterprise drives and they of course will cost you. How long have you had this HD and is your warranty out yet?

    This is a VERY long guide if you read all of it but it may help you reduce failures.
