I`ve tried running dvd decrypter...same thing! I`ve tried dvd2one,...same thing .Ive tried shrink...same thing. Could I have a virus thats causing this problem?...PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE PLEASE. Rushie
Hi. Are both Clone and AnyDVD up to date? Is it stopping when reading from the disk or when burning? Have you tried ripping the disk to your hard disk with DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD running in the background? If this doesn't succeed, the disk may be defective or your reader is faulty. http://www.filehippo.com/download_dvd_decrypter/ Try another program like Ripit4me (free) and see if your burner is working properly. Disable AnyDVD before using. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740
Hi Laddyboy, I have tried dvd shrink, Ive tried dvd decrypter,Ive tried dvd 2 one Ive tried copy to dvd but all failed after reading about 10% of the disc.Ive tried three different dvd drives and still no joy .But I was having no trouble up to this week. My versions of any dvd and clone are bang up to date. rushie
It's probably a defective disk if it stops at the same point all the time, especially if you've tried different software and hardware.
tried about a dozen discs. Some stop reading at 10% another at 3%.clone actually read a complete disc then went 100% through the writing process and told me writing was successful, but when I removed the disc it was still blank.
Go back to an earlier restore point and see if your burner works. Maybe there has been a change in the OS or a driver or other software has been installed that's causing the problem.
tried everything but nothing seems to work.Evrything I do on the pc works fine, both dvd drives will play dvd`s but when I try to do a back up dvd the pc re-boots after the copy software reads about 5to 10% of the disc, regardless of which piece of software I run and I`ve tried 4 different software programmes
Is it just one disk causing the problem or is it every disk? It sounds like something screwed up in the OS, rogue driver, etc. I assume you have uninstalled all the backup software and then performed clean installs. Have you tried ripping with DVD Fab Decrypter? It's free. Turn off AnyDVD before using. Have you tried Ripit4me? Also free and be sure to turn off AnyDVD. DVDFab Decrypter: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154 Ripit4me: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740 The only other thing I can suggest is to backup your data, reformat your hard disk, and reinstall the OS and other software.
