    What version of "clone" did you downlad? CloneDVD2 does not " create" drives.

    Try a system restore back to before you had the difficulties.

    to lexie-uninstall clone dvd2 and virtual drive from your computer,run a anti virus program to check your system for bugs it is possible that during the download the programs were corrupted.revert your system to an earlier date when the computer was ok then try a new install of clone dvd2 and vertual drive.

    this time do not install the vertual drive. as i found it did cause the above problems on some systems.
    i also had a problem with elbys vertual drive. but not to the degree as lexie2220.
    The problem did bug me..as it did shut down some programs until I overwrote the system with a ghost back up.i back up ever week..this time I only installed clonedvd2.
    another great program for back up is Acronis true image 9 i feel is much better then norton ghost.
    check it out here

    @Ireland

    I agree with you on the Elby Virtual Drive, a friend of mine installed it and even the restore did not work, so I ended up reformating their computer. It can be a problem causer for some computers.
