clone xxl is used to find out the protection scheme on a protected cd however, i am not aware the knolwedge is needed when using clone cd, but it is more helpful when using Alchahol 120. this program also shows how difficult the protection is to break, hense the row of skulls indicating the difficulty hope this helps
