I just downloaded a video file (avi). when i tried to play it with vlc, i got this error: "No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "vo3+". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this." the video is I can see the video , but no sound. Coudl someone help me ? thank you in advance. my OS is W.7 64 bit
Probably Vorbis audio. Since I don't have any examples of this type of file I'm not sure of the fix. I know that ffdshow lists Vorbis in the audio decoder configuration and MPC can use ffdshow, so that's a possible workaround. Edit: See if the file will load/play in AviDemux and try converting the audio to something like mp3.
