codec help

    Hi!

    So i would have liked to get rid of all these codecs that comes with
    XP Pro by removing them the way it's said in this thread, but after
    rebooting the puter they were all installed again.
    / no i didn't forget the windows CD in the driver :) /
    Well if somebody knows what to do , that would be nice to let me know please.

    Have u SP2?
    -Not sure but it can be reason.

    I've just tried with XP SP1 and it reinstalled them too...

    Put SP2 and if needed then try to uninstall codecs what you do not want...
