codecs for windows media player

    if i install The K-lite basic codec download will windows media player still be my default media player. I can play full avi but not partial at the moment also if i install divfix can i just play the file and not have to do anything to it. i want to be able to preview films in limewire but at the moment i cant do it through windows media player Help

    If you just installed a codec pack your default player shouldn't of been changed. If for some reason some of the settings did get changed you can reassociate those file formats with WMP.

    For previewing avi I recommend AVIPreviewer.
