Hello, Im wondering if any one can help me. At college i have captured footage of a mini DV tape and have brought it home to finish, however i cant import it into Adobe premiere because i dont have the required codec... can some one help me get this codec, also are there any other codecs that i might need on my editing adventure? Cheers, hope u can help
UMM...You failed to mention the Biggest Piece of information that would allow us to help you..What is the Codec Called?? Well I guess you would have mentioned it if you know..If this Footage is on your Camcorder then it is in DV format in which case You Probably just need a DV Codec installed...Here are some really slow Links to some Software DV Codecs: Sony DV Codec... http://dshow.narod.ru/video/Sony_Software_DV_Codec_v.2.23.exe Panasonic DV Codec... http://dshow.narod.ru/video/Panasonic_Software_DV_Codec_v.2.64.exe MainConcept DV Codec.... http://dshow.narod.ru/video/MainConcept_DV_2.102_codec.exe Canopus DV Codec..... http://dshow.narod.ru/video/Canopus_DV_software_v2.8_codec.exe Any One of these Should work if your Files are in DV Format....Cheers
Thanks one problem tho... the canopus DV codec is asking for a file called: 1 on [Unknown] any idea whats going on?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]-It wasnt me-[/small]
I don"t have a Clue what could be wrong but if you have the Other codecs then this one isn"t really needed....Cheers
when i play the file, the sound plays, and Gspot says teh codec is installed, however there are many colourful lines and squares every where... no picture can be seen
