I have just found out that it is possible to make video-cd's with nero burning-room. It is great to watch the movies on a TV instead of the screen but there is one thing that I miss from the screen. When watched on the computer you may use 3'th party software to put text-based subtitles on the movie. This is not possible when you watch a mpg file with your dvd-displayer... Is there a way to code text-based subtitles into the movies before burning them out (A filter for virtual dub, premiere, a standalone program or something)
Sure, you can use VirtualDub's Subtitler filter to do this, you can download the filter from here: http://www186.pair.com/vdub/virtualdub_filters.html#me_subtitler and pretty good tutorial how to do this is available through VCDHelp, URL: http://vcdhelp.com/subsvirtual.htm
