2.8 HT Ghz 1024 MB PC3200 Memory AnyDVD 5.2.4.2 ratDVD 0.6 After using ratDVD, windows media player displays the file as if it where still copy protected(showing it in black and white, fading in and out, and three different projections of the same film) I have AnyDVD installed and it works fine. In the preview box for encoding the video looks fine, but the aftermath is where the problem comes up. Any ideas?
I have seen this with FFDShow. After uninstalling FFDSHow everything was fine. If it is not FFDShow, probably some other installed filter is causing this.
Thanks, I unistalled Ace Mega Codec's Pack and everything worked great. Why is this a probelm thouhgh?
Codec packs are dodgy, useless pieces of software. The problem was probably being caused by something in the codec pack, which was decoding the video, because it incorrectly recognised it as one it could handle. It would have overridden ratDVD, which can decode its own video properly.
