Colors distorted on all video files after reinstalling comp

    Earlier today i formatted my computer, reinstalled everything, now when i try to play a video file, the colors are all distorted, looks to dark sortof. Anyways, my first guess was codecs, tried 3 different codecs, still the same, then tried a dvd, (.vob file) still same problem, then i thought it might be the playback program, tried 3 different ones of that too, to no good effect.
    These files all worked fine before reinstalling computer.

    Comp specs Dual 7800 GTX SLI, AMD FX 57, 3G ram

    Im hoping someone can give me an idea on how to fix this.

    I have the same problem.
    Used to have ATI but now a new GF card if that have anything to do about it..

    Picture turned very, very dark after reinstall WinXP and DL ffdshow.
    Oh, forgot specs :p Intel Core 2, GF9700GT, 2GBRAM,

    I forgot all about this thread. Mines fixed now by reinstalling drivers (same exact version drivers), just removed and reinstalled them. Did the trick for me.

    I just did that but it's still the same...
    Color is extremly dark and somewhat red-ish..

    uninstalled and reinstalled again.
    Now it looks good.
