Combine multiple MP4 clips into a timelapse video with soundtrack?

I have >100GB of MP4 video clips that I want to cut down to a timelapse type video that lasts twelve minutes and 43 seconds (which is the length of two songs that I want to use as a soundtrack). I thought I could do with with PowerDirector using the "Magic Movie Wizard" but that just replaced the music but didn't adjust the overall length of the timeline down from the 6+ hours that it's at currently.

Does anyone have any suggestions? This is going to be a one time thing so it's not something I want to invest a lot of money into software on.
