Is there a guide or program which will allow me to combine VOB files into the same DVD. They started out as 2 cd's (avi's) which were converted separately via DVD Santa into 2 DVD files. The reason they are separate is because I had to add subtitles to each one and DVD Santa didn't want to do them at the same time. So now I have 2 files with the same nomenclature and I wish to combine them.

    DVD Shrink
    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/

    Run Shrink, click 'Re-Author'
On the right side panel browse to the folder where the first file is located.
Open the folder and select 'Title 1', drag it over to the left side.
Repeat for the next folder and drag 'Title 1' over.
    Click 'Backup!'

Copy the files to a folder called joiner
Rename the files from .VOB to 1.mpg 2.mpg
Put the folder in the root (drive c:\)
    Go to a DOS prompt
    Start, Run, cmd, ok

    type
    cd\ <enter>

    type
    cd joiner

    type
    copy /b 1.mpg + 2.mpg + 3.mpg new.mpg
The files will be joined into 1 large file called new.mpg

Is there a guide to use with DVD Lab pro and can I convert AVI format with insertion of subtitles with it?

Umm... the guide to use DVDLab Pro is at its home page.

DVDLab Pro is an authoring program. You have to use a separate encoder to convert AVI files. Yes, you can insert subtitles as separate "tracks".
