Ok, I'm new to all of this, but in my extensive research of your site, I haven't found an answer to this yet, and I'm hoping some more knowledgeable person out there might have an answer. I was making a backup copy of Shanghi Noon, and it went beautifully, it looks great, and it sounds wonderful. My problem is, I used DVD Shrink, then DVD Decrypter, and all I have is the movie with a running commentary. I can watch the movie, but the only sound I get is the director and one of the actors talking about the movie. What did I do wrong? How can I get the movie without the commentary? I sure would appreciate anyone's help on this, I have made my 1st coaster...( Thanks
Have you tried to change audio streams on your DVD player? your player could have just defaulted to the directors commentary. or It seems like you have left the wrong audio in, I done it as well with my first attempt, Shrink will give you all the audio streams separatly with a little tick box beside them (same for subtitles) just tick/untick the audio streams you want left in. And get some DVD-RW to practice on - less coasters in the long run
Thanks for replying. I had one audio stream checked, it was the ac3 2-channel english. When that didn't work, I tried again, with the ac3 1.5channel english. I didn't check any subtitles. I didn't check any of the extras. I only wanted the movie. When I click on re-author though, there are 2 title 1's. One says angle2. Is that something I should think about? I have only tried the 1st one. I am gonna get some DVD-RW's the next time I go out, I hate making coasters...lol. After burning about 7 DVD's, this was my 1st coaster.
