Comments on Sony Brand

    Need some comments on a SONY DWU10A DVD+RW/-RW brand burner. A local shop has it for $150 and that seems cheap to me for a sony but kinda wierd also that it's so cheap. What do you guys think of it?

    Its crap - get a Pioneer DVR105. Ok, maybe its not crap, but not a choice of mine

    I just bought a Sony SONY DWU14A DVD+RW/-RW or something like that.....mabey it's the same drive with a different name here in Canada....It burned the DVD (i used a -R princo DVD) the picture sucked. All block and choppy. I went to the Sony site and there is absolutely no support for it. No updates, no nothing it's like Sony does'nt know it exists. I returned it for the Pioneer DVR 106D. I just got it and have not tested it yet. I'll keep you posted.

    Here is another hint. Princo is garbage, no wonder you got a choppy dvd.
