I have a compaq laptop running windows vista. I bought a hdmi cord to go from my laptop to my tv but my laptop wont seem to recognize that my lcd tv is connected. I tried going to windows mobility centre and searching for a monitor as well as setting my NVIDIA settings to enable tv detection on start up but still with no luck...am i missing something do i need to download a driver of some sorts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
