Things have changed in each of these three things... and I haven't encoded a video in awhile, so I'm not sure. Anyone know which of these three types is the highest quality?

From the test's that I have done x264 has the best quality at lower file sizes. But unfortunately it also has the lowest FPS when encoding. Divx would come in second followed by Xvid.

That's from my unscientific test's of viewing the finished product on my bigscreen lcd. In the end I prefer to do all my encoding in Xvid only because it's the quickest and the quality isn't that bad, i ussualy increase the file size to 1gb to compensate for the reduce quality (where x264 or Divx would look good at 700-800mb)
