compress avi to fit on dvd-r on my emac

    please help! how do I compress a 4.7gb avi file to fit on dvd-r on my mac, Im using toast and it comes up with an error saying file too lareg to fit on disc. Ive tried using dvd2one but it doesnt see my avi file please help

    Hey did you ever figure this out? I have some big files i would like to fit onto disk and havent figured out how to do it yet
