compressing several avi files to 1 dvd-r

hi! im not totally new to burning dvds..but i just want to save money because it causes a lot to buy many dvd-rs. so here is my situation..
i had downloaded 19 files of tv show (kdrama) and are of avi files. 19 files are really big right? so i tried to reduce the size of files to 6.71 GB, approximately 350-380 MB each.. now that im trying to burn the files using nero, i thought that 5-10 files can be fitted to a single dvd-r since the size was already reduced..to my surprise, only 2 files fit the dvd-r space..is there a way that i can put reduced size of 10 avi files to a single dvd-r? is it possible? if so, can anyone help me? if not, any suggestions? i have tried dvdshrink, dvdone and the others but they are only applicable to ripped dvd movies and not downloaded avi movies. please help me..im desperate. my hard disk is already running out of space due to the files i have downloaded that is why i want to burn them to dvd but as much as possible several avi files in to one dvd-r. thaks in advance!

 

If the files already are the size you want, you need to burn as a data disc.

 

thanx! bu is it possible that i can burn them as a dvd and watch it on tv with my player?

 

Now that's a different story. Now you need to convert them. They will increase tremendously in size.

 

ok.. so there is no chance..i will have to stick with 2 files per dvd..too bad..that causes too much! huhuhu
