HI My computer keeps freezing all the time, it mostly occurs when im using the mouse to quickly or when running programs such as music and video playing ones. It suddenly freezes and the keyboard and mouse do not respond, after a pause the computer shuts down. It has been doing this for quite a while, ive ran a virus scan and it simply freezes during the scan, is there anyway to get rid of this, i dont mind if i lose any files or programs, or is there a way to flash the memory, please help!!!. looks to me like a nasty virus and spyware infection first of all get a program called hijack this run the simple scan takes like 2 mins and save the log file post it here any and all spyware and crap will be in that log cant help anymore than that o and after you get that log post it in spyware and viruse help forum
go to the control panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery Make sure that in the section "system failure" that the block that says "automatically restart" or "automatically reboot" (depending on what os you have), is not checked. Maybe in you computer it's checked.
