hi,im really hoping some one can help me...i have been burning avi files for quite sometime now and have never had a problem b 4 but lately my pc started freezing while converting avi files with convertx2dvd...i am pretty good with computers and tried everything(re installing ,checking for viruses and got rid of any programs that might be causing the problem) does any one know what i can do to keep converting and burning my avi files? do you do a clean reinstall? running ccleaner doing a disc cleanup then defragging reboot and reinstall the program. you might give dvd flick a try also heres the link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/552742
all things considered and all hardware / software ok, i would plum for overheating... clean all fans and heatsinks in your pc, i clean my pc every month and the dust in there is think as hell.
