Wat UP Everybody! Im looking for a good graphic card for my old computer.I dont know if the one i found is anygood. Its called: [bold]Diamond Stealth Radeon 7000 S60AGP 32MB Video Card[/bold] It cost around 60. Do you know any videocards that i can get for less than 100. Thanks alot.
what is your computer speed & AGP speed(x2,x4 or unlikely x8). take a look at the AGP slot & see the divider off center in the slot. that dictates what AGP speed card will fit in that slot. I bought an ECS SIS315 64meg videocard for about $45Can.
$60 (what currency?) seems a bit much for that card as I can get a 64MB DDR model for $45CAD ($36USD) As for some video cards under $100, here's a list (arranged in increasing cost, even though i didnt include the prices): TNT2 16MB Sapphire Radeon 7000 32MB SDR TV-Out PowerColor Radeon 7000 64MB MSI GeForce4 MX4000 64MB TVOut Celestica Radeon 9200SE 128MB PowerColor Radeon 9200SE 128MB Sapphire Radeon 9200SE 128MB TV-Out ASUS Radeon 9200SE/T 128MB MSI GeForceFX5200 128MB TV-Out ASUS GeForce4 MX4000 128MB ASUS GeForceFX5200 128MB ASUS Radeon 9550 128MB TV-Out DVI Sapphire Radeon 9600SE 128MB TV-Out ASUS GeForceFX5200 128MB TV-Out DVI Aopen GeForceFX5500 128MB TV-Out DVI PowerColor Radeon 9250 256MB ASUS Radeon 9600SE 128MB Sapphire Radeon 9550 256MB DualHead TV-Out PowerColor Radeon 9550 256MB TV-Out DVI
Its in Canadian currency? I got the price from Future Shop. I dont know what my AGP speed is? By computer spped you mean ram? If you do, its around 230 Mhz.I think so.
sounds like you have either a p1-233mhz or a p2-233mhz motherboard. check to see if you have a brown slot to the right of the pci slots, the agp slot would look like a pci slot besides color but in reverse direction to the pci & also set further forward than the pci slots. if you have an agp slot, your looking at a 2 maybe 4x agp card. if you don't have an agp slot than your looking at a pci card. if you still have the manual for your motherboard, it will tell you what you then you can decide what to do before buying a card that won't work on your computer & having to take it back
