i just writing this cause my computer is starting to bug me for one its only 355mhz(my xbox is like double that speed) i only got 96mbs ram so if i do alot at once it crashes and stalls and my modem speed is only 11.5KBS.i was having trouble deciding weather to get a new car or computer but ive decided the car then the computer.im just sick of this computer staling/lagging running out of memory (7GB HDD) and performing illegal operations.I did try tcpoptimiser but that didnt speed it up.hopefully i will get a 56k modem soon.

Umm..first of all what kind of car were you looking to buy? You're weighing your options between a car and a new computer..hmm. Yeah by hearing your specs you definitely need a new comp but you may seriously wanna think about saving your money for a car if you don't already have one, a comp is nice but you can't take your girlfriend to the sock hop in it lol. Dell is advertising an entry-level for $299 after rebate so you may wanna take a look at that one..it's lightyears ahead of the one you're speaking of man.

800 bucks for a PC w/o a monitor, i would stay well clear of that. If your looking to get a new car & a new PC then spending $800 for a PC without a monitor is not a good idea, if you were to build you own PC then you should be able to cut the price down and then you have more cash for your car :)

I know it's a Celeron but it runs at something 700MHz, i think the g-cube is closer to 300mhz.

okay, I guess I was wrong about the speed, but I knew it was a celeron. the PS2 runs on a Toshiba chip clocked at 266 mhz

Do what Javafriek said and get an entry level PC because Anything! you get now will be much better than what you have : )
