    Problem loading Windows
Now, just off the bat, I think the problem is my harddrive, but let me run over a couple of things. For a while, my computer has not been able to start up correctly and after the system startup (where it runs hardware check) it goes straight to a black screen and does nothing. Sometimes when i have a CD in the drive it has a blinking white dot on a DOS like screen indicating that it is trying to boot from the CD instead of the HD. Now when i go through BIOS, it shows that it detects the HD. So i have tried to format HD and reinstall windows which takes forever because sometimes it doesnt want to bring up the CD as the boot disk, and just sits there blinking. A few times, it looks like it tries to bring up that F6 or F8 screen where you can choose your Safe Mode or w/e from there, but it comes on for a split second then just shuts off instantly, which i can't do anything with. So is there something i should run? I have tried this with XP and 7, and I have the same prob. Any Ideas?

    EDIT:
I wish that I had a second internal HD to test this on, but all I have is a flash stick.

    Edit 2:
I finally reinstalled 7 on the computer and now the computer just freezes up 10 secs like every minute.

It doesnt mess up or anything from what i can tell on Puppy Linux. And when i boot the computer for normal mode, it gives me the option of startup repair or start windows normally. When I click start windows normally it goes to the windows loading screen then it just reboots itself automatically after like 15 sec of loading. If i try the other way and choose repair it goes to the repair loading screen and just hangs there forever.

After trying many things, i finally got my hand on my other desktop to switch the HD in the bad comp and it did the same thing that the bad HD did. It would bring up the option screen of either startup repair or loading windows normally. I chose the load windows normally, and when i did that, about 7 sec in, the comp restarts itself. I would try to switch out the ram in both comps but they use different types. So am I right in saying that it is a problem with the RAM? I can't do anything with the comp right now, and I can't afford to purchase any RAM until the end of this week. Any other suggestions?
