I haven't had this problem till recently, and I have not found a way around it yet. When encoding with tmpgenc, the computer suddenly restarts. Anyone have the same problem? I have encoded mpeg1 before and worked just fine. I am using tmpgenc 2.59.47.155 and trying to encode: Audio: MPEG Layer-3 14.565 Kb/second 48.00 kHz Video: 640x480 pixels 38212 frames 1593.760 seconds 23.976 frames/second 139.712 Kb/second 24 bit video sample size DIVXMPG4 V3 compression My system is: k6-2 500mhz w/ tyan trinity at100 256 pc 100 ram 20 gig with 5 gigs free riva tnt2 m64 w/ 32mb windows 2000 pro w/ sp3 Any suggestions? weird cuz it was working fine before till recently
if this problem is happining when you convert, there is a tick box that asks you if you want it to close after encodeing?
thanks for the reply, the problem is that it won't finish converting, it crashes at about 7% or soemthing and just restarts, I have a feeling that it's the cpu. It's an old one and it's giving out now. I'll have to see when my new motherboard comes in the mail. any other suggestions?
I started having the same problem recently on encoding the computer restarts after 3 or 4% anyone has a solution to this yet i use AMD Athlon 1900+ 786mb ram
