Help!!! As I am getting more and more familiar with using my computer I am figuring out different ways to use it...however I can't figure out how to watch movies I have downloaded or DVDs on my computer through my TV. I have an S-video cable out on the side of my computer and I have purchased the RCA cable thing and have my computer and TV linked, but the only thing that shows up on my TV is the desktop background (not the desktop icons or even the toolbar, just the background image). What have I done wrong? Anyone out there had the same problem or can anyone out there help me?
First of all...what video card do you have....or at least....what brand. I think it may have something to do with what display you have set to primary. Set the tv to primary display.
Read some of my posts in other forums for answers, I'm not typing it out in full yet again but basically ensure your TV is set as the DEFAULT monitor and not your PC monitor. OK? MONZAMAN
