Greetings. I finally finished my I7 system and now i'm transferring my Maximus Formula w/Q6600 into another case. Put everything together and now the computer tries to start for about 5 seconds and stops and then it keeps trying after another 5 seconds and on and on and on. I'm not getting any beeps just a automatic re-start of the system on it's own.

    Where should I begin? Thanks.

Check memory installation, seating of cards in slots, and if still no luck, try a CMOS reset.

Ok now I can get it to the bios screen. There was a HD Audio cable that I mistakenly plugged in which was causing the 5 second restarts. But now the system is stating that it doesn't recognize any drives. I have a floppy and a CD/DVD drive installed. Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks.
