I am running xp pro. My computer worked fine one day and the next it won't recognize my dvd rom or burner. The icons have been removed from my desktop and are not even showing in "my computer". I have uninstalled the drivers, rebooted, tried updates but nut'n works. I will read the drive in dos mode but not in windows. What can i do to get back up and running? Anyone...help !!!!!!!!!
