confused

i had some bin/cue files i wanted to burn them to a dvd. i have converted them to mpeg and then i joined the 2 bin files. im trying to figure out what do i have to do next to convert them to VOB files i have run a search and so many answers and different encoders is confusing me. whats the most efficient way for me to convert the mpeg file or can i just burn the mpeg file? also if i burn just the mpg file how will the quality be?


any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated

 

Nerovision express 2 will burn these files and enable u to add a working menu.

so with that it does all the conversion for me? or do they have to be mpeg2 files? i appreciate ur help

 

If these are bin/cue files, nve2 will do it.

ok im going to try using just the bin and cue files now then cause i had already converted the bin files to mpeg and joined them together and i started the long process of transcoding them which ended up not working for whatever reason

 

it will be another long process.

 

im gettin a new computer in the next few days what should i look for as far as hardware that might make the process shorter or is there any software thats faster than tmpgenc but still has good quality?

 

Unfortunately, conversion is a long process. However when dealing with a back-up, straight ripping and burning times of 1-1/2 hours is not all that long considering you end up with dvd quality as good as the source dvd you ripped from.TMPGEnc is an excellent software. As far as hardware, I would go to the PC Hardware forum. The options for hardware are as diverse as the options for software, plus how much $ do you have to spend?

well i finally got it to go through i guess the heads of the mpeg were damaged or sumn cause ran the mpeg i converted through mpeg-correcter and then attempted to run it back through tmgpenc and it aint work so i then attempted to run it back through NVE2 and to my suprise when i woke up this morning i had my .VOB files. appreciate all the help though really got me heading in a the right direction.
