ok my computer is hooked up to my 22" lcd monitor by vga what i wanted to do was hook it up to my lcd tv by a dvi to hdmi connection. I bought a 12' hdmi connection and a dvi to hdmi adapter. the only problem is that the dvi connection is on the back of my monitor. and it doesnt work. can somebody help me
That isn't very clear. You mean the dvi input on the monitor doesn't work. If it is burned out or something your probably out of luck. You can try a vga cable if your tv has a vga input. Try testing the HDMI cable with and without the adapter if you have anything to test it on, perhaps you have a bad cable.
im hooking my laptop up to my tv and all i can get is the backround screen with the cursor but i cant see any icons or click on anything any help would be much appreciated
