Connecting laptop to a home network

    We are currently 4 pcs with Windows XP connected to a homenetwork with a Workgroup. I recently bought a new laptop and tried to connect to the network using the Network Setup Wizard but altough when I click My Network Places I can see the icons for the shared documents in the other pcs, when I try to open the files I have a "Cannot find path" problem. Can anyone help me?

    is everything shared on laptop & other computers? also what firewall are you using?

    1 of the pcs is being used as a server and it uses windows 2000. This has everything shared but the other pcs which have windows xp only share the "shared documents" because we don't want to share the C:
