I am planning to get a HDTV and want to connect my laptop to it. My laptop that is connected to my current tv is through composite and the quality seems really bad. So will changing my tv to HD fix this quality problem? If not, how can i get HDMI connection for my laptop?

HDTV will not fix the problem of the composite output.

If all you have is composite output from your laptop, you cannot "add" HDMI.

If you have an external monitor output (VGA) that is a better alternative, since most HDTV have a VGA input port.

If i connect my laptop(with female connectors) to a hdtv that supports vga, will the picture be extremely fuzzy like composite, or will it be HD?
