Im not sure if this is the right place to put this, but i couldn't see any where else. Basically i want to connect my laptop Dell Vostro 1000 to my TV Acoustica Solutions 19" LCD, my only problem is that my tv doesnt have a VGA slot it only has the component cables, HDMI, Scart. and My laptop only has a VGA slot that i can see. I am not sure if i could get a VGA- Scart connection because its a different type. So is there any cheap alternative other than buying a convertor Thanks
rich01 I'm thinking your gonna need some kind of adadpter cable eithe Vga to Hdmi ? or VGa to RCA Component Video ? Check around the internet somebody probably makes what you need ? like this maybe http://www.hdmi101.com/premium-vga-to~281.html or an adapter like so http://www.hdtvsupply.com/coviorvgaaut.html which I know you might be trying to avoid but maybe a viable option in your case !
