I just got a new pc with a wide screen monitor. My old monitor (only a year) is a 19" LCD and I'd like to be able to use it connected to my standard dvd player in the bedroom. Are there adapters/cables I can get that will allow me to do this? The monitor in question's available connections are a VGA, DVI-D and a single audio in. Thanks.

He wants the old lcd monitor to be connected to his dvd player alone for his room. Kinda like using it as a tv.

    I think.....

I dont know how to do it though sorry.

EDIT: AsK creaky and/or nephilm. They helped me with monitors.

Okay. Getting a Video to VGA converter that'll do the trick.
