helpppppp going mad I have followed all the instructions on the forum and still the xbox is refusing me access!!! see details below Connecting to x box #2 Connection failed (Connection refused) Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #3 my ip settings on the pc are 192.168.0.224 sub net as set 225. etc default gateway 192.168.1.10 my xbox is 192.168.0.225 I can ping this with cmd and all ok subnet as before gateway 192.168.1.10
You didn't post wether you're connecting to your xbox directly via a crossover, if you're using a router for the connection, or whether you're using a Static IP or DHCP. You need to make sure that the connection you are plugging into on your PC has a static IP assigned to it, that's probably why you're not getting a connection.
