connecting to xbox using flash xp

    helpppppp going mad I have followed all the instructions on the forum and still the xbox is refusing me access!!! see details below

    Connecting to x box #2
    Connection failed (Connection refused)
    Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #3

    my ip settings on the pc are
    192.168.0.224
    sub net as set 225. etc
    default gateway
    192.168.1.10

    my xbox is
    192.168.0.225 I can ping this with cmd and all ok
    subnet as before
    gateway 192.168.1.10

    You didn't post wether you're connecting to your xbox directly via a crossover, if you're using a router for the connection, or whether you're using a Static IP or DHCP.

    First, follow this tutorial I made. It has picture and accomodates the setup for Avalaunch and Evolution for use with Flash FXP. If you have questions, just post them in the thread of the tutorial.

    You need to make sure that the connection you are plugging into on your PC has a static IP assigned to it, that's probably why you're not getting a connection. Also, ensure that your xbox is set to static.
