Hi I cant seem to connect my pc to the xbox via flashfxp. I have done everything correctly in terms of IP addresses and it still wont connect! Any help appreciated
The most common mistack i have seen is people trying to ftp anonymous. make shure u are not appearing anonymous.
also you probably have the IP address wrong. it took me for freakin ever to get it right. and you need to have the linux menu thing up to ftp your xbox.
I started having the same problems earlier today, I just set up a softmod last night. If you make any changes inside the dash (or on the PC, this is still a good practice to get in the habit of) [bold]turn the Xbox off and back on [/bold]. I was going through huge troubles trying to ftp to the Xbox until I figured this out. I even uploaded SNES into it and that wouldn't even show up until I switched it off and on. Let me know if this works. Good luck. BTW, I had all my settings correct too. Make sure you're using crossover cable if it's between PC and XBOX, regular cable will only work with a router.
Thanks for the input, the problem was my pci card, it was having a conflict in the slot that it was in!! Its all working now.
