connections ???

I am sure this question is a simple one but i am a complete idiot when it comes to anything technical
i have a dvd player, sky digi box, tv/vcr combo
I want to connect up the problem is i have only 1scart socket on the tv/vcr combo I have 2 scart sockets on the sky digi box and 1 on the dvd player please can anyone tell me how to hook it up
when i try i can either just get the sky but not the dvd ( there are 2av channels on the tv remote so i assumed i could do the set up )
please help !!1

 

2 ways I can think of, but both involve spending a little cash, only a little though, don't panic

1st way, a scart switch box, this allows you to plug the box into your solitary scart socket on tv and then the dvd player and digibox into the box. Not super convenient becase you still have to get up to switch to the device you want....although if your watching a dvd you will get up to put it in anyway.

2nd way, easy but not tidy. Plug digi box into scart socket on tv and buy a scart to phono adapter. This then plugs into your dvd and you probably have phono/video inputs on your telly (hence the 2 av options) red/white and yellow usually and into these goes the other end of the converter. Added bonus of not moving to switch....so i'm lazy ok
