I have surveilance footage that is in idx. and dat. format that so far I've only been able to view on a mini viewer. I need to convert this footage so that it can be uploaded to a website.....any video format is fine. Help!!!!!
I don't know what type of video that is. If GSpot can identify the video and audio codecs used, then you can probably convert it - not otherwise unless someone can ID it.. Drag the file on to GSpot and try to see which codec it needs and if it's installed on the PC. In the example, the codec is XviD and it's installed.
